Cynthia Knorr-Mulder 

Cynthia has held administrative and educational leadership positions at Hackensack University Medical Center since l981. A board-certified adult nurse practitioner, Cynthia is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and The American Medical Holistic Association.

She currently serves on the Advisory Council for Complementary Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center and is their Administrative Manager for The Center for Health and Healing. Cynthia’s graduate studies focused primarily in complementary medicine, pain management, and women’s health. Trained in Mind Body Medicine from Harvard University, Cynthia is also a Board Certified Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist trained in NLP, Ericksonian and Parts Therapy.  A member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society, she holds a graduate certificate in education and is certified as a medical/surgical nurse, adult nurse practitioner and educator by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Currently pursuing a doctorate in psychology, Cynthia is an adjunct professor for local universities including NYU. As recipient of the United States Air Force Award for Nursing Leadership, Cynthia plans to lead Healthcare and Complementary Medicine into a healthy new millennium. Her style is humanistic and supportive. She believes that at any given moment we are all doers, learners and teachers.
